New TV show American Sweet-Harts may present a squeaky-clean image of a nuclear American family to the world, but behind the scenes, the cast despise each other, the producer is a drunk, and the studio is threatening to cancel them at any minute. Young actress Ronnie is determined to keep the show from self-destructing, but can her innate goodness save the show -- or herself -- from the rotten underbelly of 1970's Hollywood?
